Grammar & Composition I
2024-2025
This step-by-step, non-threatening approach to writing empowers students to improve their writing skills by learning to compose and edit compositions from various genres. We will focus on mastering the fundamentals of writing techniques using hands on techniques as well as a variety of games and activities. Students will learn to write concise descriptive, informative, and narrative essays as well as expository reports. Each lesson includes a Skill Builder activity to practice grammatical and stylistic skills. We will also be working with an age-appropriate grammar intensive curriculum to ensure that students have a firm understanding of necessary grammar concepts.
