Art: Drawing from Memory & Imagination

This course will aim to guide the student to be keenly observant, develop his visual memory skills and then apply his imagination to familiar subjects. Complimenting this will be the study and practice of drawing skills.

Approximately 3 - 4 hours per week
PARENT RESPONSIBILITY
- Though most art work will be turned in to me directly, parents may need to help their student photograph and submit art work through Canvas at certain times.
- My courses sometimes require the viewing of informative videos on Youtube, and while I view every minute of any video I recommend, I can do nothing about what commercials or other videos may be suggested by Youtube, therefore parents are responsible for making sure the website is used safely by their children.
- Please discourage students from doing art work while sitting in their bed or traveling in the car
COURSE FEE: $275 pay-in-full / $300 payment plan
SUPPLY FEE: $20; includes sketchbook, pencil, and pen
GRADE LEVEL: 6th - 12th
PREREQUISITES: None
CREDIT HOURS: 1 credit for high schoolers if all work is completed
MIN/MAX: 5 minimum, 15 maximum
