Sacred Scripture
2025-2026
Using the Bible, this class will delve into the canon of Sacred Scripture by reviewing the types of books the Bible contains, the basic timeline of salvation history, and the senses of Scripture. We will spend time in the Old Testament as the precursor and prophetic path for the New Testament. Special primacy will be given to the Gospels as the "heart of the Scriptures" and contain the life and teachings of Christ. We will use discussions, memorization, projects, artwork, videos, and maps throughout the year to help us more fully understand the Word of God.
