This Physical Science is a 16-module course spanning 32 weeks designed to help students understand the physiccal laws that govern the world. It covers topics such as atmosphere, weather, motion, Newton’s laws, atomic structure, and nuclear reactions. It includes many experiments to engage students through a "hands on" approach.
Features "On Your Own" questions to test understanding, bolded key terms for easy identification, and comprehensive "Study Guide" questions at the end of each module.
On Mondays, class time will alternate between direct instruction with math practice, clarifying any questions regarding the content, and conducting laboratory experiments.
HOMEWORK
Approximately 45 minutes to an hour a day.
PARENT RESPONSIBILITY
To check the students weekly assignment sheet and monitor students work progress and preparation for class. (15-20 minutes)
