World Geography
2026-2027
I am thrilled to be teaching World Geography this year! We will learn to use geographic methods to compare the countries of the world, land forms, natural resources, and climates around the world, but this class will not simply be a maps class! Students will learn to see the interrelationships between cultures, languages, and economic conditions that have shaped the boundaries of the countries and cities we study. Students will use a variety of resources to aid in our studies including our textbook, photography, videos, presentations, projects, and of course, map work!
> American History will be offered again in 2027-28.
HOMEWORK
Students should expect to spend an hour a day on World Geography
PARENT RESPONSIBILITY
Parents should expect to be involved in encouraging their student to complete the assigned work each week so that they have their assignments prepared for our class time on Tuesday.
