OLGC Canvas — App Support
OLGC Canvas is the mobile app for Our Lady of Good Counsel's learning management system. It is available to OLGC teachers, students, and parents with a school-provided Canvas account.

Signing in

• Use the same email and password as the Canvas website (canvas.olgcfw.com). There is no separate app account, and no way to create an account in the app — accounts are provided by the school.
• Forgot your password? Use "Forgot Password" on the Canvas website, or contact the Steering Committee.
• If your account uses two-factor authentication, you'll be asked for your authenticator code during sign-in.

Notifications

• Allow notifications when the app asks — that's how you receive announcements, messages, and grade alerts.
• Choose which notifications you receive in the app under Settings → Notifications.
• Not receiving notifications? Check your device's notification settings for "OLGC Canvas," then sign out and back in to re-register the device.

For parents

• Your children appear automatically once the school links them to your account. Use the name buttons at the top of the Dashboard and Calendar to switch between All, yourself, and each child.
• View Grades on the Dashboard shows all of a child's grades at a glance.
• Missing a child? Contact the school office to check the link on your account.

For students

• Assignments that accept file uploads can be submitted right from the app: open the assignment and use Submit your work to photograph your work, choose photos, or attach a file.
• Quizzes and text-entry assignments open in the Canvas website view — your sign-in carries over automatically.
